Central Florida Wine, Springs and Gardens plus a Turkey sighting?

With the electrical repair setbacks holding us on central FL I was able to enjoy a few things with Michele and the boys that I enjoyed growing up.

Blue Springs State Park in Deland, FL was my first fresh water spring swim in winter back in the day. A memory of snorkeling the spring and diving under the trees crossing the boil were great early teen moments as well as seeing manatee headed into the spring as FL temps dropped. Glad the boys got to experience part of that despite the no swim ban due to the 376 manatee in the springs 😳 and the boil being closed due to some major remodeling of the board walk. Bummed that was closed but should be amazing once it gets done. A walk on the open portion with the dogs and kayaking round out this memory until we explore a few more springs this week.

Disney Springs is always a favorite stop for the boys and enjoyed some Splitsville diner and bowling with some family. While it wasn’t recorded in picture Vince got his first Turkey to round out the night finishing with 4 strikes in a row 😎 his score was irrelevant and he’s just counting the 4 frame wonder!

Winter Garden was an unexpected treat with some great lifting and fun music and treats walking the downtown.

Also able to take in some Chuys (our favorite) and a great afternoon at Lakeridge Winery in Clermont with some music and time on the lawn enjoying the view.
